Fusion Small Plates

Had an amazing time this evening with our friend Rajeev whose amazing creativity deserved some special attention. The ingredients were combined and presented in a way that gave each dish a precious and rare feeling. We put each of the 7 brilliantly conceived and impeccably executed courses on a different style small plate and with different utensils chosen for their unusual or sometimes gem like materials.

The plates and utensils ranged from Japanese pottery to hammered copper paired with different utensils ranging from wood to forged metal fitted with pieces of agate were intended to alert everyone to take special notice of how and of what everything on the table…especially the food… was crafted.
